The Star Spangled Banner
And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there.

We pray for the souls of innocents lost, to their friends and to their loved ones.
We pray for the souls of innocents yet to be lost.
Whoever they are, wherever they may live, we shall grieve for them.

When Dogs fear Doves

How quickly can the sky be changed?
The long embrace from earth to sun
By upreached arms came tumbling down
'Til little more than dust remained.

Mad dogs, they tore poor doves apart,
Ripped life from limb and souls from earth.
No pity in those red blood teeth,
But in their haste, they left the heart

Alive to ride the tear-soaked floods,
To waiting hands and silent prayers,
To mourn, to heal, then stand and swear
The day shall come when dogs fear doves.
